SHIPPING
Unit Solar only sell our products or partner products within Australia and use local delivery service providers including Australia Post or locally relevant couriers.
Our primary concern is to get your products to you as safely as possible and on time. This may require specialist courier services for larger or more fragile items and products.
COURIER / RATES
All freighting rates or delivery fees will be agreed to during the payment process based on weight, delivery address location and calculated during the checkout process (If any).
Delivery times may vary between orders – we’ll do our best to let you know when to expect your delivery, however, this is largely dependent on the delivery service provider.
As a guide, your orders should arrive within (4–9 Business Days), unless advised otherwise by the courier.
Delivery is not available on weekends, public holidays or after business hours.
Please note a re-delivery fee will be charged to you for items that are returned due to incorrect address.
We aid to provide door to door delivery for every customer. However, buyers in remote areas may be required to collect items from their nearest freight depot or Australia post location.
Please ensure if you have any questions about the re-delivery service, we are always here help support you with answers to any queries.
We may provide free delivery for some metropolitan areas in Australia, but there may be additional delivery costs associated to some areas.
Any delivery charges for your order will be shown once your postcode is entered during the checkout process.
RETURN OF GOODS
The return of non-defective goods is governed by the Return Policy and can be amended from time to time at the discretion of Unit Solar or any of our registered partners.
The company will not accept the return of any goods or provide any refund for those goods, unless the customer complies with the terms of the Return Policy.
For the avoidance of any doubt, Unit Solar is under no obligation to accept the return of non-defective goods and may refuse to do so at its absolute discretion.
If any product the customer purchases from the supplier is faulty or damaged (through no fault of the applicants) the supplier or Unit Solar partner will, at its discretion, gladly exchange it or credit the purchase back to account holder.
When returning a product, the applicant must ensure it comes back in its original packaging with all ancillary components and manuals included.
Items not returned in this state may incur a 15% processing fee or further refund reductions in line with the cost of the missing product parts, colleterial or supporting documentation (based on the original sale price)
DELIVERY
Please note that deliver to PO BOX address is ONLY available for products below 22kg and 1M length. Please make sure you have provided a correct physical address during checkout on products of any excessive size.
Our shipping system cannot accept order changes or cancellation after payment is made. You can follow our return policy below for more information.
To aid in smooth and speed of delivery, ensure your address is correct during the checkout.
With correct information provided, your order is dispatched within 1-2 business days. Any changes to address after payment may not be considered.
Please allow 2 to 12 business days for your product to arrive. Unit Solar use a wide range of product suppliers and differing partner services and we recommend that you provide a reasonable amount of time between order and delivery.
Providing a contact number and email address is advantageous as we may make a call to follow up on your item delivery status.
Your item will be sent via Australia Post or a supply partner assigned courier depending on its size, delivery location and weight.
AUSTRALIA POST
You may receive a notification email along with a tracking number that can be used on the Australia Post my post website.
If you are not at home during normal business hours (9am – 5pm), you will receive a card indicating that the item is required to be picked up from a local depot.
A signature may be required for collection along with a valid form of photo ID.
A re-delivery fee may be charged to you for items that are returned to our warehouse or the warehouse of one of our supply partners due to any incorrect address information or failure to collect a package from a local Australia post depot.
WAREHOUSE RETURNS
Returns due to applicant error or due to a change of mind will incur a 10%-15% restocking fee.
Generally returns will only be accepted within 14 days of shipment unless mitigating circumstances are evident, such as delayed delivery due to unforeseen circumstances.
It shall be the applicant's responsibility to arrange and pay for goods to be shipped back to our distribution centre or the warehouse location of the original sender.
Goods returned to the distribution centre need to be in "as new" condition. Any goods returned which have previously been opened may not be accepted.
Our Supply partners undertake to replace any product delivered to you that is faulty or is in a damaged condition.
If you wish to return a faulty or damaged product, you must first notify us through our designated “contact us” web page where we set out our requirements relating to the return of such goods.
If we are unable at the time of return to replace or exchange returned goods, we undertake to reimburse your credit card for the amount initially debited for the purchase including packaging and postage charges.
